Smart body guards: Skin care outdoor concept

Water and oil can work together to protect the skin outdoors. Our water-in-oil emulsions provide a uniform film on the skin, leaving a protective layer and constant hydration. Dehymuls^® PGPH, Lameform^® TGI and Monomuls^® 90-O-18 are efficient and flexible W/O emulsifiers, allowing for intelligent and highly diversified formulations.

With Cosmedia^® DC – the key ingredient for our Switchemulsion^® technology – the preferred lighter skin feeling of oil-in-water emulsions can be bridged with the protective effect of water-in-oil systems. This leads to modern sun care products as another key product category for outdoor protection with Cosmedia^® DC giving a high level of water resistance.

In combination with Cognis emulsifiers, emollients and polymers such as Eumulgin^® VL 75 or Cetiol^® CC, sun care products achieve a high application comfort with a light, smooth and non-sticky touch.
